Crowder leads Marquette to victory!

December 22, 2010 By Bill Scott

Junior college transfer Jae Crowder scored a season-high 22 points and Darius Johnson-Odom added 19 to lead the Marquette Golden Eagles to a 102-77 win over Mississippi Valley State on Tuesday night at the Bradley Center.

The Golden Eagles shot 50% from the field and improved to 9-3 with the win.

Marquette coach Buzz Williams said Crowder has been solid for the Golden Eagles and is a player that will be crucial to Marquette’s success.
