Marquette wins, but may lose Fulce

December 8, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Marquette Golden Eagles cruised to a easy 86-50 win over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi the the Bradley Center, but the mood was dampened by the loss of forward senior forward Joe Fulce.

Fulce left the game after suffering a left knee injury and was taken to a local hospital.  His status is uncertain at this time.

Marquette got a career high 21 points from freshman Vander Blue.  Jimmy Butler and Jae Crowder added 15 points each.  The Golden Eagles led by as many as 40 points and shot 55% from the floor.

Marquette improved to 7-2 and will host Wisconsin on Saturday.
