Packers announce roster moves

December 1, 2010 By Bill Scott

After placing linebacker Brandon Chillar and tight end Spencer Havner on season ending injured reserve, the Green Bay Packers announced corresponding roster moves this morning.

The Packers signed LB Robert Francois and CB Josh Gordy to the active roster from the practice squad and signed WR Terrance Smith and LB/DE Curtis Young to the practice squad.

Francois is a first year player out of Boston College and has been with the Packers for 10 games this season, four of those on the active roster and six on the practice squad.

Gordy is a rookie out of Central Michigan.  He’s been on the Packers practice squad for the past 10 games.  He entered the NFL with Jacksonville in May as a non-drafted free agent and spent most of the preseason with the Jaguars.
