Packers put two more on IR

December 1, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers placed two more players on injured reserve on Tuesday, bringing the total to 13 players lost for the season.  The Packers added Brandon Chillar and tight end Spencer Havner to the season ending list.

Both players were injured playing special teams in Sunday’s 20-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

Chillar aggravated an injury to his left shoulder which was going to require surgery in the off season anyway.  He originally suffered the injury in week 3 against the Chicago Bears.

Havner’s injury isn’t expected to require surgery, but was severe enough to hurt his ability to return before the end of the season.
