The San Antonio Spurs ran their NBA best record to 33-6 on Wednesday night, knocking off the Milwaukee Bucks 91-84 at the Bradley Center.
The unexpected damage to the Bucks came via Spurs reserve Matt Bonner. Bonner scored all 17 of his points in the second half to help the visitors earn the win.
Manu Ginobli had 23 to lead the Spurs. John Salmons had 17 and Andrew Bogut added 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Bucks in defeat. The Bucks have now dropped 4 of their last 5 games. They’ll return to the road to face the 76ers in Philadelphia on Friday night.
