Lawsuit in home explosion

January 14, 2011 By WRN Contributor

A Dane County firm denies wrongdoing in a fatal explosion. Service Specialists of Sun Prairie is vigorously defending a lawsuit filed by the victims of the November 9th house explosion in Sun Prairie. The suit alleges a faulty furnace installation was to blame for the blast which killed 26 year-old Andrew Manley, and injured two other people.

Sun Prairie police have not identified a cause; they say the investigation is continuing. That’s the same statement posted on the website for Service Specialists. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the injured roomates, Steven Slack and Lindsey Stephany, and the parents of Manley.
