No Pro Bowl trip for the Packers

January 24, 2011 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers five Pro Bowl selections and one Pro Bowl alternate won’t be making the trip to Hawaii for this weekend’s

Greg Jennings

game.

Charles Woodson, Clay Matthews, Greg Jennings, Chad Clifton, Nick Collins and Tramon Williams will be preparing for the Super Bowl in two weeks, which means they won’t be playing in the Pro Bowl.  Williams made the squad as an alternate after Asante Samuel of the Eagles pulled out because of injury.  The other five were voted in.

Jennings said he’ll gladly give up the trip to the Pro Bowl, given the alternative.
