Brewers open exhibition season today

February 28, 2011 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Brewers have been working in spring training for the past week and a half.  Today, they’ll face opposition for the first time this spring.  The Brewers open their Cactus League season with split squad games against the San Francisco Giants and the Chicago Cubs.

Shaun Marcum and Tim Dillard get the starts for the Brewers today.

Milwaukee’s Mark Rogers signed over the weekend for 2011.  That means only Casey McGehee remains unsigned, of the 40 players on the current roster.
