Green Bay women capture Horizon League title

The UW-Green Bay women’s basketball team clinched its 13th straight Horizon League championship on Saturday. 

Green Bay converted its first five 3-pointers while hitting 9 of their first 10 from the field overall and rolled to a 77-59 win over rival UW-Milwaukee in Milwaukee.

Kayla Tetschlag scored a game high 25 points and Celeste Hoewisch added 14 for the Phoenix.  Green Bay shot 53.8% from the field for the game, the fifth time this season the Lady Phoenix went over 50%.

Green Bay (25-1, 14-0 Horizon League) captured its 13th straight Horizon League Championship.
