Packers name strength assistant

Zach Woodfin signed with the Green Bay Packers in 2005 as a free agent but failed to make the team.  After being released by Baltimore, Woodfin decided it was time to take his career another direction.  How he’s an employee of the Green Bay Packers.

Strength coach Mark Lovat hired Woodfin to assist the Packers with their strength program. 

Woodfin holds the all-time record for tackles at Alabama-Birmingham and was signed as an un-drafted free agent in Ted Thompson’s first season as GM.

Woodfin also worked at the UAB as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2007 and at Alabama as a volunteer assistant strength coach in 2007.
