WIAC hoops season winding down

February 11, 2011 By Bill Scott

Saturday will be in a pivotal day in the WIAC Men’s basketball race.  Stevens Point (11-2) hosts River Falls (12-1) with just 3-games left on the schedule.

River Falls defeated Point earlier in the season so a win would guarantee them at least a share of the conference title and the #1 seed in the conference tournament.  A Point win would make it interesting with just two-games left in the season after Saturday.

The Stevens Point Women (13-0) have already clinched at least a share of the conference title.  A win over River Falls Saturday would give them the title outright.
