Wilson wins Phoenix Open

February 7, 2011 By Bill Scott

Menomonee Falls native Mark Wilson birdied the second sudden-death playoff hole today to beat Jason Dufner and win the Waste Management Phoenix Open.  It’s Wilson’s fourth career victory and his second already this year.  Wilson won the Sony Open in Hawaii last month.

Wilson and Dufner tied at 18-under-par 266.  Both parred the first playoff hole, No. 18.  Wilson then birdied No. 10 to climb atop the FedEx Cup standings and the PGA Tour money list.
