Badger women bounced from Big 10 Tournament

It’s one and done for the Wisconsin Badger women’s basketball team at the Big Ten Conference tournament.  Illinois hit 9 of their first 11 field goals and upset the Badgers 63-56 at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. 

Senior Alyssa Karel led all scorers with 23 points while Lin Zastrow added 18 for the Badgers. 

With the loss, Wisconsin falls to 15-14 on the season and now awaits a possible bid to the WNIT.  Illinois snapped a 13-game losing streak and improves to 8-22 on the year.  The
