Bucks could get Redd back Friday

March 23, 2011 By Bill Scott

It has been 14-months since Michael Redd last stepped on an NBA court for a game.  Friday could be the return of the Bucks 4th all-time leading scorer.

Redd told reporters after practice on Tuesday that he is planning on returning Friday night when the Bucks visit the New York Knicks.  Redd has torn ligaments in his left knee each of the two previous seasons.

Head Coach Scott Skiles told reporters that Redd is in great condition.  Redd has dropped 25-pounds during his rehabilitation but is still trying to get the timing down on his jumper.

Milwaukee is back on the Bradley Center floor tonight as the Sacramento Kings are in town.  The Bucks sit 2-games behind Indiana for the final playoff spot in the east.
