Football Badgers land top line commitment

March 16, 2011 By Bill Scott

The University of Wisconsin Badger football program has received an oral commitment for their 2012 recruiting class.

Barrington, Illinois junior guard Dan Voltz picked the Badgers on Sunday and made it known officially on Tuesday.

The 6’4, 290 lb. Voltz passed on offers from Alabama, Auburn, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Northwestern among others.

Voltz told the Chicago Tribune that Wisconsin is known for having the best offensive lineman and he wanted to be a part of that.
