Green Bay faces Loyola in women’s HL tourney

The (13/12) Green Bay (29-1, 18-0 HL) women’s basketball team has learned it will face Loyola (11-18, 5-113 HL) in its quarterfinal game of the Horizon League tournament Wednesday at 7pm at the Kress Events Center.  The No. 8 seed Ramblers held off No. 9 seed Youngstown State for a 49-47 win on Monday, advancing to Wednesday’s quarterfinal round against No. 1 seed Green Bay.

Green Bay has beaten Loyola twice in the regular season, 72-51 in Green Bay and 69-43 at Loyola. 

The winner faces the winner of a quarterfinal game between No. 4 seed Wright State and No. 5 seed UW-Milwaukee in a semifinal matchup on Friday, March 11.
