Oshkosh lawmaker fined for sexual misconduct

March 16, 2011 By WRN Contributor

A state lawmaker who was ticketed in connection with a massage parlor sting has pleaded no contest. State Representative Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) will pay a fine of just over $2,000 for offering to have sexual contact for compensation at the Heavenly Touch Massage Parlor in Appleton.

Hintz was cited February 10th, after he was caught in an undercover police sting at the business. The Oshkosh Democrat entered a plea of no contest Wednesday in Outagamie County court.

In a statement released after news of the citation went public, Hintz apologized for making a bad decision and said he’s willing to take responsibility for his actions.
