March 22, 2011 By Bill Scott

Wisconsin is looking for a new women’s basketball coach.  Athletic Director Barry Alvarez announced Monday that the University relieved Lisa Stone of her duties as head coach.

In 8-seasons at Wisconsin, Stone went 128-119 while leading the Badgers to one NCAA Women’s Tournament.  Wisconsin finished this past season 16-15 falling to Illinois State in the 2nd round of the WNIT.
