Gamblers win USHL playoff opener

The Green Bay Gamblers scored three 1st period goals and went on to a 5-1 win over the Indiana Ice in their best-of-5 quarterfinal series opener at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

The Gamblers looked sharp and well rested after a 10-day layoff.  Green Bay received one of two first round byes in the USHL playoffs.

The Gamblers held the league’s top ranked offense to just 1-goal.  Green Bay will host game 2 at the Resch Center on Friday night.
