Packers release 2011 preseason schedule

April 13, 2011 By Bill Scott

Despite the NFL’s Labor uncertainty, the Green Bay Packers released their exhibition schedule on Tuesday.

The only date that’s locked in is the team’s third preseason game at Indianapolis on August 26th.  That game will be nationally televised.

The defending Super Bowl champion Packers will open the preseason at Cleveland between Aug. 11-15.  They’ll host Arizona the following week, between Aug. 18-22.  The Packers will close out the preseason at home against Kansas City either Sept. 1 or Sept. 2.

There’s still no collective bargaining agreement in place.  The players and owners are expected to start another round of mediation on Thursday.
