Boggs outrighted to minors

May 27, 2011 By Bill Scott

Outfielder Brandon Boggs has been outrighted to Triple (A) Nashville by the Milwaukee Brewers for the third time this season.  The move was made to clear a roster spot for infielder Josh Wilson, who was claimed off of waivers from Arizona on Wednesday.

Boggs became expendable because the Brewers are expected to activate Nyjer Morgan from the disabled list today.  They’ll have to make another room to have roster space for the addition of Morgan.
