Rickie Weeks 2-run homer in the 7th got the Milwaukee Brewers to within a run and Jonathan Lucroy’s two-out single to right in the 8th inning turned out to be the game winner in a 7-6 come from behind win over the Washington Nationals. It’s the 8th straight win at Miller Park, the longest win streak in the team’s 10-year history at the ballpark.
Lucroy also homered in the win and said he’s glad his 2-run single down the right field line stayed fair.

Corey Hart also clubbed a 3-run homer for the Brewers after homering 3-times the night before.

The Brewers trailed 6-3 in the 7th before starting their comeback. Manager Ron Roenicke said this win is as good as they get.

Reliever Mike McClendon worked two innings to pick up his second win in relief. John Axford closed out his 13th save for the Brewers.
Ryan Braun was ejected in the 3rd inning, arguing an out/safe call at first base. He finished 0 for 2 for the game, ending his career high 13-game hitting streak.
