Brewers Lose Again

May 31, 2011 By Bill Scott

The Brewers road woes continue with a 7-3 loss in Cincinnati. Carlos Gomez and Josh Wilson each went deep for Milwaukee in a three run fifth, but that’s all the offense the Brewers could muster on the night.   Jay Bruce collected 3 hits including a homer and a triple to go along with his three RBI night.  Chris Narveson went four innings, giving up five earned runs to take the loss.  Travis Woods goes six giving up just three runs on seven hits to notch the win.  Milwaukee is a league worst 8-18 on the road this season.  Game two of the series is tonight at Great American Ballpark.  Zach Greinke gets the start for the Brewers while the Reds counter with Chad Reineke.
