Pointers capture WIAC Baseball Title

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point baseball team pounded out 16-hits and beat UW-Oshkosh 10-0 to win the 2011 WIAC tournament, clinching the conference’s automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Baseball Championships.

The Pointers captured the 9th tournament title in team history, improving their record to 32-8 overall.  The Titans saw their record fall to 25-14.
