Roenicke upset after win over Padres (AUDIO)

The Milwaukee Brewers jumped out in front of San Diego 8-0 last night, then had to hang on for an 8-6 victory.

Brewers manager Ron Roenicke watched as his winning pitcher, Shaun Marcum was cruising along but fell apart in the 7th inning.  Marcum was chased after giving up 5-straight singles.

Shaun Marcum still earned his 4th straight victory. 

Jonathan Lucroy tied career highs with three hits and three rbi’s as the Brewers captured the first two games of the series.  The Brewers go for the sweep this afternoon, sending lefty Randy Wolf (3-3, 3.38 ERA) to the mound against San Diego’s Tim Stauffer (0-1, 2.61 ERA).
