Wilson among leaders at Colonial

May 20, 2011 By Bill Scott

David Toms fired a bogey-free 8-under-par 62 to tie for the first round lead with Chez Reavie at the PGA‘s Colonial in Texas on Thursday.  It was Toms who lost in a playoff just a week ago to K.J. Choi in the Players Championship.

Wisconsin native Mark Wilson shot a 5-under par 65 and trails the leaders by 3-shots heading to round 2 today.  Madison’s Jerry Kelly is 10-shots off the lead after his first round 2-over-par 72.
