Greisen signs with UFL

June 20, 2011 By Bill Scott

Former Sturgeon Bay quarterback Chris Greisen has signed with UFL’s

Chris Greisen

Virginia Destroyers.

Greisen led the Florida Tuskers to the UFL Championship game last season before falling to the Las Vegas Lobo’s in the title game.  He threw for 346 yards and ran for two touchdowns in that loss.  Greisen was twice named UFL Offensive Player of the Week last season.

Greisen was originally a seventh-round draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 1999.  He stayed with Arizona until 2001.  Greisen finished up last season on the Dallas Cowboys’ active roster for the final week.
