Super Tuesday is out

June 23, 2011 By Bill Scott

According to Mark Miller at the Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook, the WIAA Board of Control, at its summer meeting today, has put an end to the Super Tuesday Sectional game that was implemented for Division 1 in both Boys and Girls competition last season.

Division 1 teams last year were forced to get down to four teams on Tuesday, just 2-days before the start of the WIAA Tournament in Madison.  It brought about considerable debate at the time and it was hard to find anyone besides the WIAA that thought it was a good idea.

More details coming!
