Wisconsin solder dies at war

An army soldier from Beloit is one of the latest casualties in Afghanistan … and the family is notified on Father’s Day.

David Kreinz1 :13

David Kreinz was told that his 21-year-old son Tyler was killed in action. He later found out the death occurred during a vehicle rollover.

David says his son was 12 years old when he vowed to join the military.

Tyler Kreinz was a 2008 Beloit Memorial High School graduate and excelled in everything he did according to his father.

David Kreinz3 :14

After his service in the military, Tyler wanted to become a conservation warden.

The family will be flying to Dover air force base to receive the body and they plan to have a military burial in Beloit in a couple weeks.
