Ryan Braun extended his career long hitting-streak to 20 games with a 3-for-3 day at the plate.  Braun is the 5th Brewers to reach that mark.

With the loss the Brewers fall to 5-7 against the American League this season.  They also fall back into a tie with St. Louis on top of the NL Central.  The Cardinals completed a sweep of Baltimore with a 9-6 win Thursday night.

Milwaukee will wrap-up interleague play this weekend in Minnesota.  Yovani Gallardo takes on Francisco Liriano in game 1 of the 3-game set.  7:10 is tonight’s first pitch.  Milwaukee swept the Twins at Miller Park last weekend.
