It’s estimated that nearly 2,000 fans showed up to watch the Green Bay Packers kick off their NFL training camp at Ray Nitschke Field.
Fans started lining up for the best seats before 3pm for the 7pm practice. Kids lined the up to wait for the players to come out, hoping to give them a ride on their bicycles.
When the fans were let inside the gates to the practice field, they filled the bleachers in a hurry. They were lined up 4 and 5 deep to get a glimpse of the action.
And because it’s the Green Bay Packers, the most storied franchise in the NFL, all the fans will be back tonight (Sunday) for a repeat performance. And for those that can’t make it back, there’ll be others to fill their shoes. It kind of reminds you of last year’s team.
