Stricker looking for a 3-peat at the John Deere Classic

July 7, 2011 By Bill Scott

A three-peat has only happened 20-times in PGA Tour History.  Madison’s Steve Stricker tees off today at the John Deere Classic in Illinois as the two-time defending Champion.

Stricker is set to tee of at 7:30 AM along with Menominee Fall’s Mark Wilson.  Madison’s Jerry Kelly hits the links at 7:40 and Appleton’s J.P Hayes takes the course at 8:10.

The event is being played at the TPC Deere Run in Silvis, IL.  It’s the final event before next week’s British Open.
