Brewers winning on the road

The Milwaukee Brewers improved their road record to 26-35 with a 5-1 win

over the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday night.  It may not sound like much, but the road mark was 21-35 prior to the teams 5-straight road victories. 

The Brewers have won 6-straight overall and increased their lead on the Cardinals to 5-games with last nights victory.  Milwaukee has won 13 of the last 14 games.

Randy Wolf pitched 8 solid innings to earn the win for the Brewers.  He allowed a run on 5-hits with no walks and one strikeout.

Prince Fielder drove in a pair of runs with a sacrifice fly in the 1st and a run scoring double in the 3rd.  Corey Hart added insurance with a 2-run single in the 9th.

The Brewers have already won the series.  They go for the sweep tonight, sending Yovani Gallardo (13-7  3.56ERA) to the mound against the Cardinals Chris Carpenter (7-8  3.75 ERA).
