Johnson details economic reform

August 31, 2011 By WRN Contributor

U.S. Senator Ron Johnson is likely to draw some attention after an op-ed piece in the Washington Times Monday calling for the repeal of the Obama agenda. He says it was obvious when the president was trying to calm the markets after the S & P downgrade of the federal credit rating that he doesn’t know how to repair the economy and create jobs.

The Oshkosh Republican says the country needs to repeal Obamacare and the Dodd-Frank financial regulatory reform. He says Dodd-Frank is “starving small-to-medium sized businesses of capital” and “strangling” businesses with excessive regulations which prevents job creation.

The opinion editorial piece also called for regulation moratorium, tax reform, budget reform, a civil service hiring freeze and more.
