Badgers climb, Ohio State falls out of top 25

September 19, 2011 By Bill Scott

The Wisconsin Badgers (3-0) moved up 1-spot in both top 25 polls again this week, climbing to 6th in the Associated Press Top 25 and moving to 7th in the Coaches Poll.

The Ohio State Buckeyes fell out of the A.P. rankings for the first time in nearly seven years, ending the nation’s longest streak of appearances in the top 25.

The Buckeyes fell to Miami 24-6 on Saturday night and dropped out of the poll after being ranked 17th last week.  The Buckeyes had been ranked in 103 straight Top 25’s since last being left out on Nov. 20, 2004.
