Vandalism to the extreme in Rock County

September 28, 2011 By WRN Contributor

The Rock County sheriff’s office is investigating major vandalism to a Clinton business. Captain Todd Christiansen said deputies initially responded to a burning utility trailer Saturday morning. When they arrived at the Breezy Hill Nursery, the trailer was completely destroyed by fire. Numerous vehicles were spray-painted, and several were recovered from a pond on the property. Another trailer used as an office was spray painted inside and out. “We haven’t seen anything like this in a while,” said Christianson. “You might get the graffiti here and there, but this is a little more extreme than the normal spray painting cases.” Damage was estimated at $25,000. “It just seems like someone has something personal against the company, but then again it might be just someone randomly doing it,” said Christianson.
