Badger men’s hoops picked 2nd in Big Ten

Big Ten Conference men’s and women’s basketball Media Day gets underway

today.  The media got a head start on Wednesday by releasing it’s men’s basketball preseason poll.

Ohio State is the top choice to win the Big Ten Championship by the media.  The University of Wisconsin is second, followed by Michigan, Michigan State and Purdue.

The Badgers lost Jon Leuer, Keaton Nankivil and Tim Jarmusz to graduation, which means Jordan Taylor will get most of the attention from opposing defenses this coming season.

The Badgers finished 25-9 a year ago, including a 13-5 mark in the Big Ten.  They’re ranked 14th in the Coaches Top 26 preseason poll.
