Clifton suffers hamstring injury

October 10, 2011 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay Packers may have to deal without their starting left tackle, Chad

Chad Clifton

Clifton, for several weeks.  Clifton went down in the first half and there’s no indication at this time, just how much time Clifton will miss.

The Packers were already playing without their starting right tackle, Bryan Bulaga.  Marshall Newhouse was filling in for Bulaga.  When Clifton went down, Newhouse slid over to the left tackle spot and the teams first round draft pick, Derek Sherrod filled in at right tackle.

Sherrod gave up a sack to Lawrence Sidbury, but as the game moved along, both he and Newhouse seemed to grow more comfortable.
