Wolf pitches pivotal game 4 tonight (AUDIO)

October 13, 2011 By Bill Scott

Milwaukee Brewers lefty Randy Wolf pitched just three innings and took the loss in game 4 of the National League Divisional Series at Arizona last week.  Tonight, Wolf pitches game 4 of the National League Championship series at St. Louis tonight, facing close to a must win scenario.

If the Brewers lose tonight, they’ll trail the Cardinals 3-1 and would need to win all three remaining games to advance to the World Series.

Last time out, Wolf struggled to get ahead and didn’t throw many strikes against Arizona.  That will need to change tonight.

Wolf gave up 7-earned runs on 8-hits in taking the loss against the Diamondbacks.

Kyle Lohse will be well rested.  It’s been 12-days since he last pitched.
