Packers return to a padded workout

When the Green Bay Packers returned for practice on Monday, they were surprised to find out they’d be working in full pads.

The Packers returned to work with a 7-0 record, the only unbeaten team in the NFL at this stage of the season. 

The Packers will practice one more time in pads later in the week.  Head coach Mike McCarthy was asked about two-padded workouts in the same week.

The Packers are off today (Tuesday) and will resume workouts on Wednesday.  They’ll face the Chargers in San Diego on Sunday afternoon.
