December 14, 2011 By Bill Scott

The UW-Milwaukee Panthers used a 16-1 second half run to pull to within 45-43 before falling to the Wisconsin Badgers 60-54 at the US Cellular Arena.

In the end, it was the Badgers that made the couple of big plays down the stretch, including a long 3-pointer by point guard Jordan Taylor with 41-seconds left to put the Badgers up by 6.
