Foster-dad accused of sex assault

December 13, 2011 By WRN Contributor

A Rock County teen is accusing her foster-father of sexual assault. The girl says the incident happened last Wednesday morning before she left for school in Evansville. She told her special education teacher that, while they were alone in the house, her foster-father sexually assaulted her.

School officials called the police and a sexual assault exam at a local hospital indicated the girl did have sex recently.

Charles Alexander, 32, faces a felony charge of sexual assault of a child by a foster parent. If convicted, he faces up to forty years in prison and a $100,000. He’s due in Rock County court in early January.
