Geoffrion assigned to Milwaukee

December 14, 2011 By Bill Scott

The Nashville Predators have activated former Wisconsin Badger

Blake Geoffrion

forward Blake Geoffrion from injured reserve and assigned him to Milwaukee (AHL).

Geoffrion has missed the past six games due to an upper-body injury.  He has one assist in 19 games for the Predators this season after tallying six goals, two assists, and a +3 rating in 20 contests for Nashville last year.

The Hobey Baker Award winner at the University of Wisconsin started last season with Milwaukee, posting 37 points on 11 goals and 26 assists in 45 games.

Geoffrion’s first appearance with the Admirals comes Friday night at 7pm against Toronto (7pm) at the Bradley Center.
