Waupaca’s Jensen leads North Dakota State

National Semi-final this weekend.  Jensen is leading the North Dakota State Bison into an NCAA Division 1 Football Championship Subdivision semi-final against Georgia Southern on Saturday. 

The 12-1 Bison knocked off Lehigh last Saturday 24-0, with Jensen accounting for all three touchdowns, two on the ground and one through the air.  The win Saturday was in front of 18,000 screaming fans at the Fargo Dome, where Jensen says the home field advantage is alive and well.

Jensen led the Waupaca Comets to the Valley 8 conference championship in 2008, and the division 3 state title.

Kickoff for the Bison against Georgia Southern Saturday is 1:30 on Saturday afternoon.  The game is being televised by ESPN “U”.  The winner advances to the championship game against either Montana or Sam Houston.
