NFL evaluators told Montee Ball he’s projected as a 3rd round draft pick if he enters the April NFL Draft, so ball announced today that he’s returning to the Wisconsin Badgers for his senior season.
Ball scored 39 touchdowns this season, tying Barry Sanders’ NCAA record. He finished the year with 1,923 yards rushing and now becomes the leading returning vote getter from last year’s Heisman race.
Ball rushed for 164 yards in the Rose Bowl loss to Oregon.
Ball said it’s nice to get the decision out-of-the-way and said he wants to add 10 lbs to his frame for next year.
