Bucks without Bogut indefinitely

January 27, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Bucks learned on Thursday that they would be without center Andrew Bogut indefinitely.

The 2005 t0p overall pick suffered a fractured foot in Wednesday’s victory at Houston while coming down awkwardly on a Houston player’s foot.  An MRI found the fracture in Bogut’s left ankle on Thursday.

Bogut was playing his 400th career NBA game and is averaging 11.3 points and 8.3 rebounds a game this season.

Bogut missed the end of the 2009-10 season when he dislocated his right elbow, sprained his right wrist and broke his right hand in a hard fall to the floor.

He also missed 43 games, including the final 31, with an injured lower back in the 2008-09 season.
