Green Bay’s Turner done for the season

January 3, 2012 By Bill Scott

The Green Bay men’s basketball program lost sophomore Daniel Turner for the rest of the 2011-12 season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Saturday’s game at Valparaiso.

Turner had started 9 of 14 games this season and 35 games in his tw0-year career.  Turner was averaging 4.6 points and 4.9 rebounds a game this season.  Turner is expected to make a full recovery and be ready in time for the start of next season.

Green Bay (6-8, 2-2 Horizon League) returns to action on Saturday, playing at Milwaukee (10-5, 3-1 HL).
