Stricker wins season opening PGA event

Six holes into his final round, Steve Stricker’s 5-shot lead was down to 1.   From there, Stricker rebounded to win for the 8th time on the PGA tour in the last 33 months and for the 12th time overall.

Stricker finished the tournament at 23-under par and moved up to No. 5 in the world.
