The Wisconsin women’s basketball team picked up their first Big Ten Conference win of the season, knocking off Illinois 70-67 in Champaign on Sunday.

The Badgers trailed 39-37 at the half and saw the Illini start the second half on a 7-0 run, but the Badgers went on a 8-1 run of their own to tie the game at 47.

The game stayed close until the Badgers started to take control with four minutes left.  The Badgers went up 62-57 and led the rest of the way.
