Another city hearing booms

March 22, 2012 By WRN Contributor

Strange sounds are now occurring in the Marquette County community of Montello, just like Clintonville, about 80 miles away.

“It’s not just my imagination or a couple crazy people in town,” one woman said. Another woman said she thought it was an explosion but noticed there were no flames anywhere.

Montello Police Chief Richard Olson said they’ve spoken to construction and utility crews to determine a possible source. Police in the Marquette County community are still investigating.
